Hallmark Public School Sector-15, Panchkula, celebrated its Annual Function, ‘Joytopia- Let Happiness Rule the Roost’, at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector-5, Panchkula amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Sh. Rajesh Jogpal, HCS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Panchkula graced the event as the chief Guest whereas Sh. Ashutosh Rajan, HCS, GM, Haryana Roadways, Chandigarh presided over it.

The CBSE School in Panchkula commenced the event with the scintillating and lively ‘Ganesh Stuti.’ Aiming at bringing together children and cultural diversity with intellectual exchange for spreading happiness and euphoria through the performances, Joytopia, highlighted the need of being compassionate, loving and in perfect harmony with our co-beings which was very well depicted through the performances such as Manjha-the Bonding Beam, Tug of Toes, etc. The first ever ‘Live Band-Mast Kalandars’ by Rhythm Choir Club of the school enthralled the audience with its 15-minute electrifying performance. Magnificent, innovative, artistic and unique 3-D props such as 12-feet ‘Sarcophagus’ used in the mesmerizing Egyptian Odyssey depicting the rich, radiant and vibrant culture and eminence of Egypt stole the show. Events such as Whirlie Waltz, Pumpkin Pals, The Mighty Jungle, Campus Diaries, Boom Bash, etc. were applauded by one and all.

Days of hard work and rigorous practice and rehearsals done by staff, students and technical team was clearly visible that made the show class apart for best school in Panchkula, which very few schools in the tricity would be able to give. The effective use of latest light and technology made the event a treat to the eyes and everybody was spell bound. Joytopia was largely attended by various dignitaries, media fraternity, school staff & students along with their family members, relatives, friends and people in general. The auditorium was fully packed to its capacity and many were standing in sideways given by the popularity of the function.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Chairman Sh. K.K. Gupta. Principal, Ms. KavitaWadhwa, urged the students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials not only to carve a niche for themselves or bring laurels to school but also to bring glory to their nation. Education and success, she said, is incomplete and futile if it is bereft life skills. Director, Mr. Jivtesh Garg, congratulated the students for putting up such an outstanding show and also thanked the parents for their cooperation and support.
